W jednym z numerów rosyjskiego pisma znalazłem ciekawych wojaków: Kurlandzki Korpus Wolnych Strzelców. To oddział porucznika Krystiana Krystianowicza Szmita. Wojacy walczyli oczywiście dla cara i nazywani byli przez Rosjan Korpusem Kurlandzkich Kozaków. Próbuję teraz ich poskładać i pomalować ...

As a figure I have never seen it before. A nice conversion idea with the Landwehr.
Beside a painting from the Russian postcard-series of 1812 I haven't heard from this unit before. The letters about you wrote, is this in Russian or english? i would like to find some more information on this unit.
